Hair Extension Care Guide
To maintain the quality, appearance, and longevity of your hair extensions, proper care and handling are essential. Double drawn hair has been processed to achieve a full, uniform look, and as a result, requires consistent and gentle maintenance.
General Care
• Always handle hair extensions with care. Avoid rough brushing, pulling, or excessive friction.
• Detangle hair daily using a paddle brush , starting from the ends and working upward to the roots.
• Avoid sleeping with wet or loose hair. Braid or tie hair in a loose ponytail before to minimize tangling.
Washing Instructions
• Wash hair extensions using sulfate-free and alcohol-free products only.
• Gently cleanse in a downward motion; do not rub or bunch the hair.
• Condition generously, focusing on mid-lengths to ends.
• Rinse thoroughly and allow hair to air dry whenever possible.
Moisture & Maintenance
• Keep hair hydrated using lightweight oils or leave-in conditioners.
• Double drawn hair does not receive natural scalp oils, so added moisture is necessary to reduce dryness, tangling, and shedding.
• Avoid product buildup by washing regularly, but do not overwash.
Heat Styling
• Use heat tools sparingly and always apply a heat protectant.
• Excessive heat can weaken the hair and contribute to shedding and tangling.
Important Notice
Double drawn hair extensions are more prone to tangling and shedding than raw or cuticle-aligned hair due to the processing required to achieve uniform thickness. These characteristics are normal and expected.
Failure to follow proper care instructions may result in increased tangling, shedding, dryness, or reduced lifespan of the product. Such outcomes are not considered product defects.
